A few words from project leads we’ve worked with over the last eighteen months as one of ARIA’s Activation Partners.

CHILLYBAT - GAMB2LE (FTP)

“I’ve been working in engineering and design of Arctic observations for about ten years, and it’s hard to overstate how incredible the collaborative work with Amodo has been. Not only are they an extremely talented group, but the funding and institutional structures are absolutely a “10x” accelerator for this kind of effort. In just a few months, we’ve gone from an idea to a third-revision top-grade prototype for an Arctic-grade modular battery system.”

“I am not Amodo. And having Amodo to take a crack at it with real expertise, with real PCB design, with real thinking about equilibrium between the cells, with Joe who’s seemingly far more brilliant than I could ever hope to be, thinking about stuff that I didn’t consider — it’s amazing.

PLANTFUSION (PP)

“What amodo did was really great — they designed and built us these new cuvettes that we could actually use.
That multiplied our ability to test different conditions at the same time… It has 5x our throughput.

EITSYS (SRB)

“In the original proposal we had around one and a half years dedicated to developing this electronic circuit to improve our current system. Because of Amodo, we were able to finish in the first six months. […] It sped up a lot of things exponentially. Because of Amodo we’re going beyond what we promised.

OTTAGS - OTTER (FTP)

“Toby, Emily, and Sam have been really good — it would have been a complete disaster if I tried to do it myself. I’m having a stab at a lot of stuff myself with this project, but the electronics is so specialised and there’s so much more to it than I thought.

FRACTILE

“The slide set leads with the tray and rack images! Big thanks again for achieving the impossible.

OOPCB (FTP)

“It was a really useful exercise for me and Ali, my co-founder, to get a kind of crash course in how you do electronics engineering.

NEURALOG (NCB)

Having a knowledgeable electronics guide was incredibly helpful. We work together, I bounce ideas off them about my design, brainstorm how I could do this differently. Through talking to them every week, we’ve kind of built a shared understanding. It’s been a very useful partnership.”

ARTFILL (SRB)

“Amodo have given us the confidence to know this won’t be a quagmire we get stuck in. […] They have the resources and diverse skill sets to handle the engineering.”
